What Is a Landing Page?
Have you ever heard of the legend of the mythical landing pages? No? A landing page is designed to increase conversion rates or win more customers or registers.
Landing pages are different from your homepage and any other webpage. They have designs concentrating on converting visitors or nurturing leads through various offers (free demos, e-book downloads, etc.). Let’s now see how we can create one!
How to Create a Landing Page
It’s not rocket science to create landing pages. Here’s how to make a page that is effective from scratch.
- Drag-and-Drop landing page builder
- To intrigue your visitors, create a captivating headline
- High-quality visuals to attract attention
- landing Page Copy that enhances your Value proposition
- Online Form To Capture Your Visitors’ Information
- Social proof to boost your credibility
If you are busy, you can always choose a pre-made landing page template to save time and effort.
The right ingredients will make a high-converting landing page that captures your visitors. Landing pages can be casual and colorful. Using white space with larger fonts will help create targeted messages and drive your audience to take action.
The Best Ecommerce Landing Page Designs
Many eCommerce stores are using landing pages. This is due to their lead generation capabilities and leads nurturing abilities. Here are some examples of lead-generation pages from online shops that have been successful. Let’s see!
Hemster – Simple and Elegant Structure Copy and Headline
Hemster’s landing pages have a simple design that captures the brand’s elegant spirit. The headline may not show the conversion benefits, but the supporting copy does! If you pay attention, you will see that the brand uses copy to highlight the help of the brand and not get tired.
Design
Hemster places space between essential elements to enhance user experience and make it easier to understand the copy. The colors match perfectly with the images giving visitors a pleasing result.
CTAs
The CTA is placed at the page’s top, so visitors know where to go. The brand adds a second CTA to increase conversion rates.
Social Proof
An online store uses brand logos to build credibility. This is an excellent way for your audience to trust you, especially if your business is starting. The “Our Story” section can be used to make your brand more relatable and personal. This is a stunning design, but clickable links could distract visitors from taking action.
Quip - Example of a Post-Click Landing page
Headline and Copy
The quip is brief and focuses on the product’s benefits. To attract the attention of potential customers, the landing page copy uses specific language such as “simple,” “affordable,” and “enjoyable.”
Design
The design is simple and minimalist, but it ensures that potential buyers receive all information they need to make an informed decision. The page will be more appealing and convert if it contains product photos rather than stock photos/screenshots.
CTAs
As you can see, the CTA buttons are the only bright element (aside from the logo). Bright colors against a white background are a great way to make your CTAs stand out.
Social Proof
The brand uses social proof to prove that it is a legitimate company, as TIME and GQ have acknowledged.
All these elements work well for the brand. Still, the navigation bar at the top is unnecessary since clickable buttons will take users away. To keep people interested, the brand could have a more compelling headline.
Dollar Shave Club – Video-Infused Landing Page
Headline and Copy
Dollar Shave Club created a page that generated 12.000 orders in 48 hours. This page will surely grab attention with its headline highlighting the benefits of subscribing.
Design
The unique content that Dollar Shave Club has created is what stands out. The video is strategically located next to the CTA button to make it easier for leads. The brand’s blades are also more appealing because of the different colors.
CTAs
The orange-colored CTA draws attention and captures leads, turning them into customers. The CTA copy, even though it is a simple “Do it,” is highly actionable.
Social proof
The design also includes big brands (and an enlightened customer #164) to convince the target market that the service is worthwhile.
Leaving the navigation bar at the top of the page can lead to visitors leaving the page. The same goes for the social follow button below the video.
Indochino – Landing Page with Social Feed
Copy and Headline
Indochino’s landing page design is my favorite because it features a standout headline and gorgeous colors. The brand’s copy is simple. It also adds urgency by encouraging users to make an appointment to be in the running for a chance at winning an incredible prize.
Design
The colors perfectly match the visual of the man wearing the suit. This is a lovely and appropriate addition to the landing pages. The brand has also dropped the notorious navigation bar, which makes the design more focused.
CTAs
The first button is the most prominent. It uses action verbs to get website visitors to click on it. If we look further down, you will see that another section leads to a second and third CTA. This increases the likelihood of them being converted.
Social Proof
Finally, the brand uses the #INDOCHINO hashtag for genuine products. This perfectly integrates their page with social marketing. The brand does not use stock photos and invites interested visitors to its social media pages. Indochino adds a Forbes quote to help build trust with its audience before removing the last CTA. Clever, right?
AXIS – Minimalist Design
Copy and Headline
When you look at AXIS’s landing page, you will see that the headline conveys the benefits of using a capitalized font. It could have had more copies. It provides more information to convince potential customers.
Design
Additionally, potential leads can click the “Watch it work” button to learn more. This opens a window that displays the landing page and not takes them to another page. The brand includes additional sections that show how it works. Potential customers can access all the information they need by clicking on the CTA button.
CTAs AXIS’s secret weapon, the bright red color of the CTA button in AXIS is amplified with the white and grey color scheme. CTA copy is simple, with the addition of “now.”
Social Proof
The brand uses famous logos from companies like CBS, Fox News, and TechCrunch to build its reputation and convince customers it isn’t a ripoff. Visitors might find it annoying to scroll down because the page is long.
Inspiration SaaS Landing Pages
Landing pages can be an excellent tool for SaaS companies. Are you planning a webinar? Create a landing page. Expanding your email list? Create a landing page!
Below are some of the most creative designs SaaS companies have used for their lead-generation marketing strategies.
Let’s take another look!
Moosend – Webinar Landing Page
Headline
This landing page was created by Moosend to allow users to register for the Valentine’s Day webinar. This headline captures the essence of the event and keeps it V-day. The message ends with a red font highlighting the benefits of signing up. The visitor can see what they get by registering.
Design
The design uses white space and high-quality visuals to keep visitors interested. The absence of navigation bars and clickable buttons keeps visitors focused by minimizing distractions.
CTAs
Moosend’s online registration form only contains the required fields and skips any unnecessary fields to encourage people to sign up. The bright red CTA complements the document perfectly, drawing attention and motivating people to sign up.
Social Proof
The company used testimonials of existing customers to promote attendance. Moosend added G2 badges to increase its credibility and build trust with potential visitors.

Hotjar - Lead Generation Page Example
Copy and Headline
Hotjar created a landing page for its paid advertising campaign. Hotjar’s headline uses a question to entice readers to continue reading. Hotjar then uses checkpoints as a way to emphasize the benefits of the tool. Hotjar helps potential clients to see why Hotjar is the right tool for their job.
Design
The company prefers a clean design regarding visuals, white space, and visuals. This allows for maximum visibility of the CTA button and other benefits. The visual on the right side is equally effective, giving potential customers a peek at the heatmap software.
CTAs
Hotjar uses bright pink CTA buttons that stand out on the landing pages. But other things convert. CTA copy can also be actionable. It uses the “free forever” addition to increase the value of the company’s offer.
Social Proof
Last but not least, Hotjar uses its G2 logo and company logos to show that it is trustworthy and can increase conversions.
The design is beautiful, but the clickable logo in the upper left corner of the page can be somewhere else.
Optimizely – Watch Demo Landing Page
Copy and Headline
Optimizely’s landing page is both informative and balanced. The page’s headline is straightforward, so visitors can know precisely what to do. Optimizely cuts to the chase with bullet points and action verbs in the remainder of the copy to motivate users to take action to improve their user experience.
Design
While the page does not have fancy visuals to grab attention, its structure is captivating. Optimizely made sure that the page’s form was short of converting. They only used the required fields. White space adds balance, and the footer’s grey makes it appear larger.
CTAs
The primary CTA button could be brighter to make it stand out on the page. However, the CTA copy makes up for this by adding urgency to the message, implying that only a few seats are available.
Social Proof: The demo is backed by well-respected, trusted brands and can be used to convince leads.
Shopify - Tested Landing Page Design
Headline and Copy
Shopify’s landing page hits all the right design points and more! The headline is clear and concise. Shopify uses additional copy to explain why it is their best tool.
Design
This page is easy to navigate and the right length to keep the visitor from wandering off. The choice of color matches the brand’s colors, even though it isn’t traditional green. Shopify has a visual that shows a mobile device and a laptop to show how you can manage everything wherever you are.
CTAs
No clickable links (the logo doesn’t have a clickable link). It is unique and converts because of its multiple CTAs and excellent use of whitespace. CTA copy emphasizes that the trial is free, which can be a great way of convincing indecisive leads.
Social Proof
Shopify is a brand that uses its trust in trusted businesses to build trust with potential customers. To make the brand even more credible, Shopify also includes a testimonial from a customer to prove its worth.
This is Shopify’s favorite landing page. It is possible to see that the company previously used a purple version. To improve your landing page conversion rate optimization, A/B testing is essential. Shopify recommends that you A/B-test your designs to optimize them for better results. Everything can make a big difference, from your color scheme to the content.
Unbounce - Ebook Promotion Landing Page Example
Headline And Copy
Unbounce begins with a bold statement and continues with a promise: Learn how to optimize pages! Large fonts attract attention, and “like Talia Wolf” shows potential leads that this is an expert piece of content, not a generic guide. The supporting copy is clear and explains what the guide includes. However, the font size could have been a bit larger.
Design
Unbounce is an excellent example of how white space can be combined with photography and online forms. Visitors can instantly see the landing page and understand its purpose. Furthermore, The page’s design is free from stock photos and screenshots, which improves its conversion rate.
CTAs
The number of fields is perfect for capturing your target audience. While the blue CTA stands out with its direct and actionable copy, it also allows you to capture their attention. The company could have used brighter colors to match the image, and the button is dark blue.
Social Proof
Unbounce’s website uses a testimonial to show Talia’s expertise. This increases its credibility. Potential leads can see what to expect when they read the guide.

Scout: Mobile Responsive Design
Copy and Headline
Scout’s landing pages follow the guidelines of an effective landing page. It features a compelling headline that asks a question, with supporting copy that highlights the “fast, accurate, and free” results visitors will receive. It is easier to understand the benefits of using icons and short documents.
Design
Scout uses an image of a property as a design to make the page more relevant. Although the photo is suitable, a different photograph with people could have been more friendly and relatable. The Scout can also use the white space to their advantage, demonstrating the benefits of converting in a structured manner.
CTAs
The choice of color in the CTA is crucial to make it more conversion-friendly. The result looks more personal when “my” is used.
Responsiveness
This landing page is excellent in design, but its real strength lies in its mobile responsiveness. You know that creating mobile-friendly landing pages is essential to convert mobile-first users. Sundae – CTA-Focused Landing Page
Headline And Copy
Sundae’s landing-page header is what homeowners expect to see when they arrive on the page. The urgency created by the use of action verbs (“sell”) as well as words like “today” calls visitors to take immediate action. The remainder of the page’s copy is focused on the benefits of obtaining an offer. It is concise and clear. The page’s highlight is the “promise” of the realtor, which triggers an emotional response.
Design
At first glance, Sundae’s landing page looks white with minimal visuals and black fonts. White space is the key to this page’s power! Sundae uses its entire design to power its bright CTA. Although the page is quite long, it helps visitors to identify the key points and move closer to conversion.
CTAs
Did you notice no color in the CTA buttons or the number provided by the realtor? The entire page is designed to lead the user to the most critical colored element on the page and invite them to click.
Social Proof
In the final section, the agency cleverly includes testimonials. This increases credibility and makes this one of our most potent lead-generation designs! Sundae’s design shows how a simple page with a bright CTA can be the ultimate conversion weapon.
Fly home - Elegant Landing Page Design
Copy and Headline
Flyhomes uses a particular landing page headline to convert Seattle leads. In addition, the word “beat” is intended to intrigue homeowners and show them they can click on the CTA to get the best deals. You can see further how the realty agency increases its value proposition by offering leads three ways to become better homeowners.
Design
Flyhomes uses a blue palette to create a sophisticated result that matches its logo. Although the hero image is elementary, it represents the brand and makes the page stand out. White space helps to make the page more navigable while keeping the appearance and design balanced.
CTAs
Here, the primary CTA is strategically located after the headline supporting copy to maximize conversions. However, the button’s color is the same as its font, which makes it less prominent. Concerning the CTA copy, “Start Now” is a simple way of incentivizing action by adding urgency.
Social Proof
You can also see that the realtor uses testimonials and company logos to build trust with visitors and to show them that they can deliver tangible results. People who have never heard about your company play a significant role in convincing them to trust you. It will be a great asset to your company if you use it in your design!
Trulia - Single-Focus Page Example
Copy and Headline
Trulia’s landing page design differs significantly from the rest. This single-focused landing page focuses on capturing leads rather than displaying the benefits. Visitors will need to continue to the next step to finding out more. Trulia, however, ensures visitors are excited by changing their headline to ask: “How much does your home cost?”
Design
Looking at Trulia’s structure, we see that Trulia places the CTA in the middle of the page. The realtor also uses five fields to encourage homeowners to complete them quickly. A background image is an excellent addition to the design. It would have been more effective to use a photo of the lead looking directly at it.
Call to Action
Because your leads are often busy, giving them an immediate solution to their problem is essential. Furthermore, Trulia found that a simple question and an orange CTA are the best combinations. The CTA copy ensures that the response the lead receives is tailored to their property, not some generic one.
Trulia’s design can be used to capture leads who are looking for an immediate and personal solution. Remember that sometimes, less is more!

This headline grabs attention and intrigues potential clients with its unique and fun style. The copy below makes a bold statement and gives the lead the promise that they will get the best service.
Design
Klientboost is more playful than other designs due to its cartoonish visuals. Furthermore, This landing page, besides its visuals and copy, is interactive. Visitors can select the topic they need assistance with and click on the CTA. This is unusual for agencies, as agency landing pages are often more severe.
CTAs
Klientboost chose a red color for its CTA button to stand out on the page. The agency created a striking contrast with the white space and green visuals, which draws visitors to the “Start my FREE marketing plan.”
Social Proof
The agency also uses customer testimonials (names and jobs included) to make the offer more appealing and credible.
